In a premier white-glove building on Lower Fifth Avenue, this two bedroom pre-war apartment was completely demolished and reconstructed. The architectural changes were subtle, but essential in creating the open, airy feel of the apartment. All of the door heads were raised and rooms were opened to one another, providing grace and scale. Art lighting, central air conditioning, and enlarged closets were all added for increased functionality.
