When the studio became available next door, a family on Central Park West decided to expand their living quarters. Having already combined two apartments, the challenge was to incorporate a third apartment without demolishing the entire home. While leaving the bedrooms and kitchen in place, DFA reconfigured the rest of the apartment to create a seamless flow with ample living space. The new layout includes a media room, numerous nooks and alcoves, and storage of every conceivable type.
