This neo-Georgian farmhouse in Ivy, Virginia (just outside of Charlottesville) was ideally located, but only half as large as necessary for a family relocating from the northeast. DFA designed, and successfully hid a 'white elephant' behind the existing house, doubling the square footage, without compromising the integrity of the original design.
